The 7HZ Salnotes Zero is an ultra low budget IEM retailing at around 25€ in Europe. It is one 10mm dynamic driver
configuration IEM and comes in very small box about the size of cigarette box. The IEMS can be ordered in variety
colors with or without mic.

The Unboxing experience is nothing special but also not surprising at this price. Along with the IEM's you get
an ok single ended cable with detachable 2-pin connector and also a few ear silicone tips in different sizes & colors.
The IEM's are for the most part made out of plastic with a a nice stainless steel faceplate on the front.
The shell is about medium size and nozzle is around 6 mm diameter. The IEMS are very lightweight and fit very well in
my ears, they are also very comfortable for longer listening sessions they didn't bother me at all.

The Salnotes Zero are very easy to drive and don't need any additional amplification to be at their best. If your IOS
or Android device doesn't have an 3.5 headphone socket i would suggest looking for a USB to 3.5mm dongle like the
Apple USB Headphone Jack adapter at 10€. It paired very well with it, i also tried it with higher-end gear but it
didn't seem to scale much  if at all.

In terms of sound reproduction, it's tuned very well, it is mostly neutral with a slight emphasis in the bass region.
It has a very pleasing non fatiguing presentation with a good amount detail and surprisingly good soundstage.
Were it doesn't perform as well is with imaging but considering the asking price there is not much to complain about.

Talking about comparisons i don't have any other IEM's in this price range, the next one i could compare it to was
KZ ZS10 Pro at around 50 Euro so it's about twice the price of the Salnotes and to me both IEM's are on par, the KZ
is slightly better in the bass department but the former has a better wider soundstage so it comes down to personal
preference.

Final Word:

I think the 7HZ Salnotes represents an excellent value, a great allrounder for all genres of music at it's price.
